An Appropriate Biblical Verse….

Got this one by email:
My wife and I were in slow-moving traffic the other day and we were stopped behind a car that had an unusual Obama bumper sticker on it. It read: “Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8.”
When we got home my wife got out the Bible and opened it up to the scripture. She started laughing & laughing. Then she read it to me. I couldn’t believe what it said. I had a good laugh, too.
Psalm 109:8 ~ “Let his days be few and brief;
and let others step forward to replace him.”

Carlos Santana, The No. 1 Representative Of The Human Race…I don’t think so!
As much as I enjoy Santana’s guitar work…I have a CD of his in my truck…this just shows you how misguided (read dumb) some entertainers can be, and how egocentric to think of himself as THE representative of the human race. Sorry, NOT. Lock yourself in the studio, Carlos, where you know what you’re doing.

The news this morning announced that 28% of all home real estate sales in our area were foreclosures. This term “foreclosure” sounds fine if you say it fast, but the fact is it’s a devestating drawn-out, stressful, debilitating load on a family who’s waiting for that knock on the door, that gentleman in uniform, wearing a brass badge, who says you must be out of this house (your home), in 24 hours.

So let me get this straight…..
1. If a Navy Seal slaps a High Value Target, he should be prosecuted.
2. If a Navy Seal kills a High Value Target, he should be decorated.
3. Seal Team Six under Cheney were a ring of assassins.
4. Seal Team Six under Obama are a band of brothers.
5. Osama bin Laden was not a Muslim, because he murdered Muslims.
6. Osama bin Laden was a Muslim deserving a proper Muslim burial.
7. It is heroic to kill a terrorist.
