Unions have only negative consequences – Unions

Unions

This from my friend and fellow Montanan, Jim Walker, as published in the Florida Times Union, Jacksonville, Florida:

Note: The writer of this blog is the son of two life-long union employees and once worked in a Union job for two years as a result of a union election. The results were an immediate slowdown of production by what were previously excellent workers, many admonitions from union members to slow down to stop making them look bad and total a complete elimination of creativity in the workplace. Nothing has changed since those days except America suffers terminally from Union actions today.

Look around!

Where in America does a labor Union make any positive impact? Where do labor unions do anything for America? Where do they do anything other than collect dues and spend them to elect Democrats that continue the never ending cycle of unionism where it is not needed.

What’s wrong with education in America? Unions

What’s wrong with the auto industry in America? Unions

What’s wrong with state and local governments in America? Unions

What’s wrong with the federal government in America? The blind support of Unions

Unions destroy creativity in the workplace.
• Unions destroy productivity in the workplace
• Unions always want workers to slow down and not make other members look bad
• Unions create dangerous conditions in American with slowdowns at the wrong time
• Union negotiation tactics often put Americans in danger
• Unions use thug tactics to keep their members inline
• Unions are insignificant and irrelevant without direct federal government support
• Only 6.9% of all non-government American workers chose to be represented by a Union
• Government unions are destroying America one city and state at a time
• Government union workers make 40% more than the same job in private enterprise
• In some areas unions are filled with convicted criminals
• No one anywhere in America should be forced to join a union to get at job

Unions merely represent a trust fund for Democrats to fund their campaigns for public office. They are totally un-American as except in right-to-work states you cannot opt out of being a member to reject you dues from being used to elect Democrats.

John F. Kennedy made the biggest mistake in presidential history by signing an executive order in 1963 to allow government workers to form unions. I don’t know if a guy that precipitated an event that killed 58,000 American soldiers in a useless war in Vietnam and fooled around sexually in the White House while married is in the proverbial “heaven” or not, but wherever he is, I am certain that if he could see what he wrought, he would be ill.

Even that first paragon of tax and spend socialism, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, admonished the Congress and the American people in 1937 to never consider allowing government workers to unionize. He knew that it would be a disaster for America!

My question is that if he could sign an executive order that has brought so much pain and destruction on America, why can’t the current president sign an executive order to undo the mess? Why can’t he sign an executive order that decertifies all government unions and allows governments to negotiate with individuals for employment, salaries and benefits?

I know that if I were president, it would be my first action in office.

USING ITS OWN VOLITION HERETOFORE UNIONS HAVE ONLY BEEN ABLE TO REPRESENT APPROXIMATELY 13% OF ALL AMERICAN WORKERS AND THAT IS WITH GOVERNMENT WORKERS ACCOUNTING FOR ABOUT 6.5% OF ALL AMERICAN WORKERS UNIONIZED. AMERICA IS INSTANTLY SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER OFF WITHOUT UNIONS MR. PRESIDENT.
