The stock market rise, a surprise?

I’m beginning to see on TV that the stock market rise is a surprise that should help democrats in the “midterm” elections. Let us not forget that the market runs on emotion, and emotion among business people, and that includes those who buy and sell stocks is running hot and hopeful.  Emotions are JUBULENT that the democrats may well LOSE control of the house and even the senate. Therein is the reason for the rise, renewed faith that some sense may come of income tax and regulation of business.  It’s certainly not based on sound economics, as the stock market seldom is.
