Obama, The Invisible Man!

Barack Obama, The Invisible Man

What Does Matter?

Does it matter if we know who our president happens to be?  Where’s Obama’s Personal Life?

For instance, didn’t he have any lady friends in college?  We know every wart Bush had as a youth.  We know his grades and his lack thereof.  We know every health issue of every past office holder, we know the sexual orientation of the daughter of the past vice-president and of his heart issues. We know that slick Willie was partial to hummers in the White House.

Our media, the fourth estate, worms these kinds of things out and lays them before us, which I think is fine and in the best American tradition.  But Obama, he’s the invisible man.  Where is the press?  While Obama, the pied piper, toots his flute, the press follows blindly.  Give me a smile, Mr. President, and another mesmerizing speech, and I don’t care if you registered in college with an Indonesian passport and foreign scholarships.  All I care about is your brilliant smile.

Do you find that strange?  If you don’t, you have absolutely no curiosity.

I wonder what passport Obama used to travel to Pakistan?  What nationality did he use to register in those very expensive universities he attended and how did he pay for them?  Where are his grades, where is his masters thesis?

Right down to the very mundane…who were his roommates?…who was the best man at his wedding?  And it goes on and on and on.

Do you know any of this?  No.  And why not?

And that’s not the worst of it:

When he designed plans to take over the health care system and put it under government control, people said it didn’t matter.

When he claimed he was a Christian during the election and tapes were later made public that showed Obama speaking to a Muslim group and ‘stating’ that he was raised a Muslim, was educated as a Muslim, and is still a Muslim, people said it didn’t matter.  Are we surprised as his brother and father are Muslims?

When he set into motion a plan to take over the control of all energy in the United States through Cap and Trade, people said it didn’t matter.

What does matter to you?
