A Christian Response from ChristianResponseAlerts.Com – West & Rubio

If I said I thought Florida to be the “great white hope” it would be rather ironic as the two congressmen from that state whom I think are among America’s greatest hopes for the future are a black Army vet and the son of Cuban immigrants.  Allen West and Marco Rubio have brought more conservative, more truly American values to Washington D.C. that any others from any other state.  Thanks, Florida…  Thanks Mr. West and Mr. Rubio for proving American values and the American dream once again.  I believe in contraception, however I don’t believe in ramming my beliefs down the throats of fellow Americans.  Government is a lot of things, but the moral compass of America is certainly not one of them, and the Obama administration, full of socialists, communists, tax cheats, flag burners, etc., is the last group who should be dictating moral and religious direction to the rest of the country.

This from ChristianResponseAlerts.Com:

Mr. Obama is not backing down…

. . . in his attempt to ram ObamaCare down our throats – to include the paying for contraceptives and contraceptive education—against the moral beliefs of many religious Americans!

That is why many Congressmen are “FIGHTING BACK!” And so should you!

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) introduced the “Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 2012″ (S.2043). Senator Rubio’s bill is intended to look after religious organizations and DEFEND your right of conscience.

S. 2043 requires the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to show consideration for conscience defenses for religious institutions against contraceptive mandates.

ObamaCare (mis-named “The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act”) currently mandates that religious employers (including churches) pay for contraceptives, sterilization services, and abortion-inducing drugs for their employees. In order to supposedly counter grievances raised by religious leaders, the DHHS announced on January 20, 2012 they have given religious organizations ONE YEAR to adjust to the ObamaCare order. This is totally unacceptable!

It has nothing to do with one year, ten years, or 100 years extra time to comply to a bad law that directly contradicts our religious freedoms in America!
