In Answer To A Question: What’s Pulled Apart?
I was asked a question on my facebook page, “What do you mean, pulled apart?” Here’s my answer:
A document that was just that, a document that was flat and scanned or photocopied is flat, without “components.” In photoshop you can assemble a document in layers, and each layer, other than what you have placed thereon, is transparent, thus you see a combination of layers. Unless it was assembled in photoshop, it doesn’t have layers. However, an expert hired by FOX NEWS maintains that a scanner with OCR software may likely break a scanned document into layers.
