Surprised, and Pleased!

I’m surprised and pleased by Mitt Romney’s choice of Paul Ryan as a running mate. Surprised because the easy way to victory would be to choose a man or woman of color to appeal to that 48% of the country who doesn’t pay taxes; pleased because more than any other potential running mate, the choice of Ryan shows Romney’s commitment to solving the country’s financial woes. No one has demonstrated a more solid or workable and brave plan than Paul Ryan. It’s Romney and Ryan to cure the country.
Paul Davis Ryan is the U.S. Representative for Wisconsin’s 1st congressional district, serving since 1999. A solid family man, no one in the Republican Party is a more influential voice when it comes to economic policy.
